- football and movie star who in 1994 was accused of killing his ex-wife Nicole Simpson Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman. Simpson's initial flee from authorities and subsequent trial captured the attention of the world, with the combination of high-priced defense attorneys known as the Dream Team and alleged mistakes by law enforcement authorities.
