Definition
- THE PALESTINIAN HEMOPHILIA Association (PHA) is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit organization, the purpose of which is to improve the condition of hemophiliacs and persons with other bleeding disorders. The association was created by hemophiliacs, their families, and professionals who are concerned that comprehensive medical and social care is not currently available for hemophiliacs, and it was officially registered as a nongovernmental organization with the Palestinian Interior and Health Ministries in May 2006.
