Definition
- In September 2011, the British Standards Institution (BSI) published a Publicly Available Specification (PAS) under the title “Crisis Management: Guidance and Good Practice,” commonly known as PAS200. Sponsored by the United Kingdom Cabinet Office (UKCO), the document was drafted under the watchful eye of a steering group consisting of people who were or had been involved in the management of crises, among them representatives from the Bank of England, travel company Thomas Cook, the UK Airlines Emergency Planning Group, Mitsubishi, and Blake Emergency Services.
