Definition
- The Republican National Committee (RNC) is the organization that oversees political activities for the Republican Party, including (a) organizing the party's national convention, (b) developing its political platform, (c) coordinating campaign strategies, and (d) fundraising. Each political area (states, U.S. possessions, District of Columbia) has a minimum of two representatives (one man, one woman).
