- Staffan Burenstam Linder was a Swedish economist based at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), who also spent time at the universities of Columbia, Stanford, and Yale, among others. As Professor of Economics and President of the SSE, he founded the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Latvia, in 1993.
