Definition
- Street Fighter is a popular video game in which players compete in martial arts tournaments against various fictional opponents from around the world. Designed by Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto, and first released in 1987 by Capcom, a Japanese video game design firm, Street Fighter casts the player in the role of Ryu, a Japanese martial artist.
