Definition
- The Zapatista National Liberation Army (Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional, or EZLN) is an armed organization that was created in 1984 by Indigenous peoples from the Tzeltal, Tzotzil, Chol, Tojolabal, and Mame ethnic groups in the southeastern state of Chiapas, México.
