Definition
- When applied to intimate partner violence, anger management has been controversial and sometimes misunderstood. When applied generally, the goal of anger management is to reduce overly strong anger, which may be related to a very uncomfortable or frightening sense of loss of control; health problems such as high blood pressure; and some forms of aggression.
