Preferred term
anti-racism
Definition
- Because of the game's popularity, social significance, and the multi-ethnic composition of professional football players, anti-racism in British sport has largely focused on football (race). Launched by the Commission for Racial Equality and the Professional Footballers Association in 1993, Let's Kick Racism out of Football was the first national anti-racism in sport campaign.
