Definition
- Community partnerships offer noninstitutional approaches to correctional service that have been found to be effective for the delivery of methods of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services for criminal justice offenders. Millions of people are released from prisons and jails each year, and government agencies alone cannot fully address the myriad challenges that individuals face after incarceration.
