Preferred term
cyborgs
Definition
- The mixture of human and machine where biology and technology become inextricably linked. Haraway has argued that the new biotechnologies have unseated old Western dualisms such as mind/body, self/other and male/female so that there are no certainties about nature, the body or self left.
