Definition
- Direction is the spatial relationship between an object and the line or course along which it is aimed, lies, faces, or moves, with reference to the point or region toward which it is directed. It can be measured in a number of ways, such as an azimuth, bearing, or heading, but is usually measured in degrees of angle between due north and a given line or course on a compass.
