Definition
- Drive by shootings, colloquially known simply as “drive-bys,” are a tactic used by urban guerrillas, political assassins, terrorists, and criminal gangs. Drive-bys are armed attacks made from moving or momentarily stopped vehicles against individuals in the open, in other vehicles, or in structures.
