Definition
- Hong Kong is a multicultural society, although the presence of ethnic groups other than the dominant Chinese heritage constitutes only 6% of the population. Students who are racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically different from the Chinese mainstream group are referred as non-Chinese speakers (NCS) in Hong Kong public schools.
