educational reform in the middle east
Definition
- The term Middle East refers to a number of countries, some of which are in Asia and others in Africa; for this reason, these countries are often referred to as the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries. Islam is the main religion in the MENA countries, and Arabic is the dominant language except in Turkey, Malta, and Iran, where Turkish, Maltese (Malti), and Persian are the official languages, respectively.
