  • Electronic voting may be described as the use of a specific system that allows members of Congress or other legislatures to cast their votes on roll calls on the floor from their seats or other specific locations. The results may be seen on a panel as “yes,” “no,” or “abstention.” Names appear with indications of party and state or another configuration according to the member's desire.
