employer-assisted housing
Definition
- Employer-assisted housing refers to various forms of assistance provided by employers to their employees to help them acquire, occupy, and improve housing. It has evolved from an incentive provided primarily to corporate executives to a benefit available to a broader range of employees that is explicitly designed to lower housing costs in heated markets or revitalize neighborhoods in weak markets.
