Definition
- ENDOMETRIAL CANCER IS the most common type of gynecologic cancer, originating from the inner lining of the uterus, or womb. According to the American Cancer Society, there are about 39,080 estimated new cases of endometrial cancer and 7,400 women are expected to die from the disease in 2007.
