Definition
- How the environment and environmental issues are interpreted, controlled, manipulated and regulated by politicians, institutions, businessmen and civil society. Environmental governance is arguably poorly developed with a lack of co-ordination between the various actors, inadequate resources devoted to environmental concerns and the dominance of economic over ecological criteria.
