- Evidence-based interventions (EBIs) are treatments, such as protocols, programs, strategies, and curricula, that research suggests improve the targeted outcomes of children and their families. Movements in fields like medicine, psychology, and education to identify treatments that improve outcomes have increased the availability of information on EBIs.
