exploratory data analysis
Definition
- Exploratory data analysis is the set of steps that qualitative researchers follow in exploring a new area of social or psychological life that they do by collecting open-ended data from which to generate new concepts and generalizations about that area. The most efficacious exploratory data analysis leaves these investigators as much scope as possible for the discovery of new concepts and generalizations.
