Preferred term
fairness in relationships
Definition
- Romantic relationships are generally associated with love, trust, commitment, and caring for each other's needs and much less with issues of fairness or justice. In the past, most justice theorists have therefore typically considered justice and fairness—terms that are used interchangeably—as unimportant in close relationships.
