- Food advertisements aimed specifically at children have been of concern to parents and educators since the early years of television. Food advertising comes to children through a wide range of media sources, including TV commercials, food packaging, billboards and point-of-purchase advertising, magazine advertisements, and product placements in TV programs, movies, and video games.
