Definition
- Fuel cells, like batteries, convert chemical energy to electricity. Unlike batteries, “fuel” can be fed continuously into a fuel cell from a reservoir that can be refilled, even during operation. [Source: Green Energy: An A-to-Z Guide; Fuel Cells]
