Definition
- The model promoted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for Coordinated School Health (CSH) includes eight components, one of which is Health Promotion for Staff. Health education that leads to changes in unhealthy behaviors or promotes regular healthy behavior choices is health promotion, which is synonymous with worksite wellness.
