health incentives for staff
Definition
- As health insurance premiums increase, medical expenses rise, and workman's compensation claims pile up, many school districts are looking outside of the box at ways to improve the health of their employees in hopes of reducing health-related expenditures by controlling costs. One way many schools and districts throughout the country are trying to accomplish this goal is by incentivizing staff members who engage in healthy behaviors and lower their risk for chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
