  • A health service program evaluation is a planned, systematic collection and analysis of information that can be used to document the impact and effect of programs. The main purpose of program evaluation is to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a program, to determine the effectiveness and appropriateness of services delivery, and to determine if the services being delivered meet predetermined and prescribed standards.
