Definition
- Hypnosis can be defined as an altered state of consciousness or as a state of mind in which an individual is particularly susceptible to various degrees of suggestibility. Although hypnosis has not been used extensively in educational situations, a review of the literature reveals common, agreed-upon areas of use as an educational instrument.
