Definition
- Indigenous treatments and healers are found in many ancient ethnomedical systems and draw their extensive knowledge and therapeutic techniques from ancient native wisdom and healing traditions. Most have little formal medical education but believe they have received a divine gift to heal from the greater realms of medicine.
