Preferred term
internet bulletin boards
Definition
- Internet bulletin boards have evolved into meeting points for fans of teams, leagues, and players to converse, revel, and argue, regardless of geographical distance or time considerations. Sport-related bulletin boards, or message boards, are similar to a local sports bar, except that the attendees live all across the world, and the doors never close.
