  • An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company that provides access to the Internet. The majority of ISPs supply users with software, dial-up numbers, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, login names, and passwords in exchange for a monthly fee, which can range from $10 to more than $100 depending on the company, the type of connection, the number of access hours, and the availability of additional packages for Web building.
