- There are two versions, the one-sample GOODNESS-OF-FIT test and the two-sample test. One-Sample Test Several alternatives for one-sample tests involving ordinal data are available (Gibbons & Chakraborti, 1992; Siegel & Castellan, 1988) with advantages that vary slightly with the situation.
