Definition
- Often organizations pursue maintenance-of-scope strategies when management believes the past strategy has been appropriate and few changes are required in the target market or the organization' products or services. Maintenance of scope does not necessarily mean that the organization does nothing; rather, management believes the organization is progressing appropriately.
