Definition
- Midlife is a significant stage of adult development that, despite the population bulge resulting from the baby boomers reaching middle age, is still frequently overlooked. According to the U.S. census, by 2010, more than one fourth (26%) of the population will be between 45 and 64 years of age. [Source: Encyclopedia of Health & Aging; Midlife]
