missing, exploited, and murdered children
Definition
- Children are society's weakest and most vulnerable group, and crimes perpetrated against them—such as kidnappings, sexual exploitation, and murder—evoke strong feelings in most of the public. Hence, a study of the serious and multifaceted problem of missing, exploited, and murdered children is vital for law enforcement, society at large, and the victims themselves.
