Concept information
Preferred term
morality and relationships
Definition
- The nature of personal relationships depends to a considerable extent on the moral precepts and norms accepted by members of the community in question. This entry is not concerned with the particularities of what is considered right or wrong in a particular culture, for cultures differ, but with the way in which the nature of morality impinges on that of personal relationships.
