Definition
- Supreme Court rulings on President Franklin D. Roosevelt's (1933–1945) “New Deal” economic legislation during the Great Depression of the 1930s. The Court's rejection of many early New Deal programs led Roosevelt to consider packing the Court with judges sympathetic to his plans.
