Definition
- Olfactory imagery is the capacity to experience a smell, intentionally, when the appropriate stimulus is absent (e.g., sniff and imagine the smell of lemon). This is referred to as phenomenal imagery. [Source: Encyclopedia of Perception; Olfactory Imagery]
