- With obesity becoming more prevalent among children, the potential impact of obesity on school performance has been receiving increased attention. A recent review by Howard Taras and William Potts-Datema described nine articles (three of which were conducted in the United States), which suggest that childhood obesity is negatively associated with school performance.
