paganism and mothering
Definition
- New Paganism, also known as Modern Paganism or Neo-Paganism, is an umbrella term that refers to a variety of Earth-based religious sects emphasizing harmony with nature. The term pagan has its origins in the Latin word for a rural or country dweller and historically was used by early Christians to describe those who maintained their old religious beliefs rather than adopt the Christian faith.
