Definition
- A recent Pew Internet & American Life Project study suggests that a substantial percentage of American youth create, or have created, online content. For example, the study found that almost two thirds of online youths between the ages of 12 and 17 have exhibited a semblance of technological savvy by creating such content as personal web pages that feature graphics, multimedia, and narratives (see Lenhart & Madden, 2005, for specific details).
