Preferred term
physical activity and disability
Definition
- About 10% of the world population, or 650 million people, have at least 1 disability. Limited information indicates that the world's largest minority group is less physically active than those without disabilities, causing an increased risk for health problems that will compound the negative effects of an existing condition.
