Definition
- According to the American Medical Association, physical inactivity is a leading contributor to the obesity epidemic in the United States. Even though the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends youth limit their screen time to less than 1 to 2 hours a day, youths spend nearly 6 hours watching TV, playing video games, or on the computer.
