Definition
- POLISHES ARE PREPARATIONS used on a variety of surfaces, including leather, wood, and metal, that are applied to produce a glossy finish. Polishes can be found in nature: Apples can be polished by simply rubbing their surface, as the natural wax coating found in their skin will shine after polishing.
