politics in international funding
Definition
- The politics of international funding is the process by which international actors make decisions on international aid (e.g., funds, grants, donated goods, and services) within the context of international development cooperation and humanitarian disaster intervention. The politics of international aid is full of paradoxes, because aid resources can be most available when least required, and least available when most required.
