Definition
- Ideally a teenage pregnancy should be diagnosed as early as possible in order to maximize the time available for optimizing maternal and neonatal health outcomes. Teenage pregnancy outcomes are often associated with low birth weight babies, and those babies having a propensity for developmental delays.
