- Data from the health-assessment tool FitnessGram can support school health professionals, teachers, and administrators in advocating for a coordinated approach to school health and physical education programming. When FitnessGram results and scores, indicating a child's overall health-related fitness, are shared with the child and child's parents or guardians, the child or parent may be prompted to improve or maintain healthy behaviors and lifestyle.
