Definition
- Pronatalism is the promotion of reproduction whether by direct policies, such as child subsidies, or indirect influence, such as cultural celebrations of motherhood and childbearing. Throughout the 20th century, different nations have used a wide range of both direct and indirect methods to promote the reproduction of their citizenry.
