Definition
- It is the responsibility of U.S. schools to teach and educate over fifty million students. While the effectiveness of this education is in part due to factors within the schools themselves, it is well documented that out-of-school factors, such as health, family, or behavioral health challenges, can have a significant impact on students' academic achievement.
