- in television and radio, a method of advertising scheduling in which several commercials that comprise a set are run in a regular sequence continuously from first to last, over and over; can also be used to mean an advertiser's strategy of scheduling television commercials by rotating them among several different programs or time periods (i.e., an orbit).
